Handling blades can be dangerous business if the blades are not locked in a scabbard. Over the years we have tried many different methods to pack small blades where scabbards are not effective. Shrink wrap tended to be the best method but even then the blades must be handled with care because the wrappings can eventually be cut through. It was a customer request that led us to the next evolution of packaging blades, a Skin Packer. The Skin Packer works by placing the blades on a hard perforated corrugated surface and pulling the plastic wrapping down through a vaccum.
We will be shipping smaller blades skin packed as a free service to minimize the risk of injury by our customers. We take customer feedback seriously and welcome additional suggestions as to how we can enhance our services.
